• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
• At least eighteen (18) years old
• One (1) year of JetBlue, prior airline experience, or experience in transportation or logistics roles involving real-time coordination and decision-making (e.g., train/bus dispatch, port operations, freight logistics)
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends, holidays and irregular operation
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software such as Word/Excel/PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and in a team environment 
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Ability to learn new technology and operating systems
• Depending upon location, may need to possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a driving record that meets JetBlue Airways’ insurance standards
• Where applicable, required to obtain and maintain United States Customs Clearance 
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge 
• Available for overnight travel (10%)

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Military experience in aviation operations, airfield management, or related fields
• Participation in structured aviation internships, ramp tower shadowing, or Air Traffic Control (ATC) internships
• Completion of 32 or more college credits in an aviation-related field (e.g., aviation management, airport operations, aeronautical science)
• Prior operations department experience
• Familiarity with weather reading
• Highly organized and focused

Crewmember Expectations:

• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
• Able to maintain a professional appearance (uniform compliant)
• When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
• Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
• Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
• Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))

• Uphold JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities

Compensation:

• The base pay range for this position is starting at $20.50 an hour plus a $1.50 an hour premium. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
