Job Description:
As a SAP MM specialist, the candidate should have excellent functional knowledge in standard SAP
Materials Management module along with integration with other SAP modules.
He/she should be very familiar with the business flows and processes in SAP MM, customizationsaround such processes, and the different kinds of documents involved in the end-to-endProcurement cycle. He/She should be comfortable with the functionality and management of Master
Data such as Material master, Vendor Master, Business Partners etc.
The candidate should have worked on integrated systems and should be comfortable with monitoring of interfaces and applications. The candidate must be familiar with working with heavily ustomized Objects. This role will involve designing and preparing specifications for ABAP consultants, and working alongside developers to deliver business value. A basic understanding of
SAP ABAP along with debugging skills is mandatory.
He/she should have worked on Implementation/rollout projects, and should also be familiar with Incident Management and Problem Management processes along with an understanding of Business priority and criticality. He/she should be familiar with bug fixing and Change Management processes.
The candidate should ideally have worked with external subcontractors, and should ideally have experience leading service deliverables, monitoring operational performance and upholding agreed KPIs. The candidate should have worked in a customer facing role dealing with end-users, super-users etc. and maintaining excellent communication at business terms.
The concerned domain is Aircraft Manufacturing and production. The candidate, if selected, will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team; using an agile mind-set and methodology.
Qualification & Experience:
1) Graduate with 5&43; years of experience in SAP
2) Responsible for the conceptual design of innovative solutions in the SAP modules MM and
other linked modules, including ABAP.
3) Expertise on end-to-end Procurement flow and Special Procurement processes in SAP
4) Expertise on topics such as Pricing, Account Determination, Release Procedure etc.
5) Should have experience of working in Implementation, Testing, Specification
creation/updates at Project level
6) Ability to perform planning, analysis, designing, requirement definition, functional design,
testing and implementation of solution
7) Good analytical and problem-saving skills
8) Customer focussed skill. Worked with European customers/clients
9) Should have a good understanding of ITSM and Agile Methodologies
10) Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
● As a Lead SAP functional Consultant, candidate should have capability to design and optimize
processes in Materials Management and other domains
● Provide best in class level of service to Airbus internal customers
● Understand business processes and technical architecture of Airbus application portfolio
● Prepare root cause analysis and propose improvement
● Identify and propose service improvement
● Provide expertise to the full chain of support
● Proper Communication and exchange with Business on critical topics
● Train, Mentor and Collaborate with team members.
