Role Summary
* In this role, you will be supporting manufacturing operations by developing, implementing, and maintaining production plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and process documentation to ensure accurate as-built configurations. You will assist with integrating suppliers, processes, materials, and technology to meet delivery and quality standards, while also contributing to manufacturing problem-solving, tooling requirements, and cost and schedule optimization. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing planning and production support.
* AA degree in a related discipline and typically a minimum of 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Level 3: 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
* Must have experience reading, interpreting, and enforcing standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
* Must have experience using CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
* Must have strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
* Must have computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
* Must be a US Citizen. Preferred Skills
* You will have an Associate’s degree in a STEM-related field.
* You will have experience with Model-Based Design and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* You will have experience with MESci or similar manufacturing systems.
* You will have experience in Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems such as CompassContract.
* You will have familiarity with CAD software suites and Windchill or similar engineering management databases.
* You will have strong collaboration and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively. Job Duties / Functions
* You will be developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configurations.
* You will be assisting with the integration of suppliers, materials, and technologies to support manufacturing and delivery requirements.
* You will be reviewing supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing-related standards.
* You will be identifying tooling requirements, initiating tooling orders, and assisting with tooling dispositions.
* You will be investigating and resolving manufacturing-related issues to ensure production continuity.
* You will be supporting reproducibility assessments for part and product designs.
* You will be providing input to design, manufacturing processes, and technology decisions to meet cost and schedule objectives.
* You will be developing and sequencing work statements to meet delivery commitments.
* You will be maintaining, reviewing, and updating internal documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* You will be working collaboratively under general supervision to support continuous improvement and first-time quality initiatives.
