Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Career Business Process Analyst to work in the Global Logistics Warehousing team who plays a critical role in partnering with Production Control and Materials Management (PC/MM) on the improvement of operations supporting in optimizing the future of Supply Chain operations.
As a Business Process Analyst level 4 you will serve as a bridge between various internal groups (Business Partners) including PC, MM, Indirect Supply Chain (ISC), Finance, leaders and other stakeholders within BDS PC/MM warehousing operations teams. The successful candidate will partner to develop and deploy warehousing initiatives. This individual will ideally have a background in Supply Chain, 3PL Service Providers, Warehousing Best Practices, and Warehousing Integrations. This position includes requirements gathering and implementing warehousing solutions including recommendations for operational supply chain improvements. Other responsibilities include partnering with Business Partners on benchspaning studies and business case development.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead cross‑functional and integrated process design teams to develop and implement Supply Chain Management (SCM) best practices, processes and tools, including introduction, documentation, and sustainment of improvements across warehousing and 3PL operations.
- Conduct end‑to‑end value stream and material flow business case analysis (capability, capacity, make/buy, service provider/3PL selection, throughput, workflow, lead time, transportation, and facility layout) to identify waste and recommend process redesigns that optimize performance and resource utilization (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, equipment).
- Perform data‑driven risk assessments and mitigation activities, developing corrective and preventive countermeasures and ensuring successful implementation and long‑term sustainment of solutions.
- Consult on enhancements to improve Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost ensuring solutions adhere to compliance and strategic business objectives and present analysis and recommendations to senior management.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of warehouse and 3PL operations, process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies; work independently with minimal direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehousing operations or similar role
- Experience with process improvements and Lean
- Experience with data analysis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
- 5 years of experience in warehousing operations or similar role
- Ability to effectively communicate with business partners, peers, and management
- Capable of building positive relationships
- Adaptable to change and a quick learner
- Experience analyzing complex data
- Experience in identifying opportunities to improve work-related processes within own work group, project or process and engaging and empowering team to make process improvements

Summary pay range: $102,850 - $139,150
