To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a HRIS Operations Analyst II in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) & Strategy Department. Youll play a pivotal role in enabling our team members to utilize Workday effectively in their day-to-day activities. You will be responsible for providing support for our HR systems and acting as a liaison for Workday technical assistance. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. This position will report to the HRIS Manager. 

Essential Duties:

  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) within HRIS for Workday Help
  • Monitor case trends and system usage to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced user experience
  • Support simple configuration request (e.g. notifications, announcements, or document distribution changes)
  • Support testing strategy
  • Create and execute test scripts for configuration changes, user acceptance testing (UAT), and Workday releases; guide SMEs through results and assist with UAT approvals
  • Analyze data for accuracy, conduct audits, and lead data cleanup initiatives to ensure ongoing data integrity
  • Build and maintain both regular and ad hoc Workday reports, escalating to Tier III as needed
  • Backup for Operations Analyst I for day-to-day triage of Workday inbox and help cases
  • Tier II support handling items as assigned by Operations Analyst I and escalating items to Tier III as needed
  • Provide technical guidance to Workday Operations Analyst I
  • Manage Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) processes for mass data uploads, independently resolving import errors and validating data accuracy
  • Triage configuration requests within the HRIS support structure using Agile methodology, ensuring accurate routing, complete business requirements and prioritization
  • Support as project contributor with testing and supporting SMEs with UAT and testing scripts
  • Provide system guidance to SMEs and other users
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, including case notes, internal procedures, test plans, and provide guidance to Workday Curriculum Developer on user guides
  • Backup to Workday Operations Analyst I with security change request, report access issues, assign security as requested, or escalate to the Security Administrator

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Associates degree
  • Two (2) years of Workday experience supporting HCM in an operational manner or as a functional expert
  • Three (3) years of experience supporting day-to-day HR and or HRIS operations, including employee data management via HRIS systems
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and anomalies in data and take appropriate steps to clean and validate without supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex cases and projects, with a focus on resolution and process improvement
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in virtual environment with remote teams
  • Ability to exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive data and business information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three (3) years of Workday experience supporting HCM in an operational manner or as a functional expert
  • Workday Pro Certification

Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Starting Rate:

$50,000.00/Annual Salary - 71,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)
