- Resolving general engineering queries from the supplier.
- Works collaboratively with Vendors, Operations, Engineer and Supervisors.
- Analyze ‘Product Deviation Requests’ (PDR) from the suppliers.
- Collects data from engineering drawings and/or datasheets and BOM information.
- Review and approved the design in Workflow using Siemens PLM Teamcenter.
- Analyzes the part specification to identify the correct commodity code assignment using Siemens PLM Teamcenter.
- Responds to basic and complex engineering or product issues or concerns by providing recommendations and solutions.
- Searches for potential alternative parts from the internal database using Siemens PLM Teamcenter.
- Identify and recommend alternative parts with similar form, fit, and functions.
- Analyze the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) raised by other entities and approve its disposition related to the individual parts and product itself.
- Analyzes DCR/ECO and its impact on the design, supply chain and provides a summary report.
- Monitors the implementation of DCR/ECO in the Supply Chain by establishing constant communication with the Manager, Supervisor, and Buyers.
Qualifications:
- Any Engineering course , experience in Strategic/Sourcing is an advantage
- Basic knowledge in using ERP systems (preferred JD Edwards, SAP)
- Good verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
- With at least a year in current position
