We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional front desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front office experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. It is critical that punctuality, attendance and communication with your Supervisor is a top priority.
Normal working hours: 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, visitors, and guests; determine the purpose of each person’s visit and directs accordingly.
- Answer, screen and direct all incoming calls through a multi-line phone system. Take messages as needed.
- Manage the transaction of all term badges, assuring receipts are received and provided to the Human Resources department for all term badges.
- Receive mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and deliver or distribute to the appropriate employees.
- Update and maintain company-wide phone directory.
- Help to maintain security by monitoring the access of visitors to the workplace.
- Handle other miscellaneous clerical duties for other managers/officers.
- Maintains strict confidentiality related to any employee and/or company-related issues.
- Punctuality, attendance and professionalism are an absolute top priority.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
At least one year of experience in reception or customer service. High school diploma or equivalent.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write clear, concise correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Good grammar and spelling skills.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in MS office applications including word, excel, and Microsoft outlook.
Special Equipment Skills:
Experience using multi-line phone system (example: Yealink) preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
