Your responsibilities
-Sources suppliers, and may assist with bid evaluations, cost analyses, price justification, and risk assessment of suppliers.-Assists with supplier negotiations on new procurements or changes to existing purchase orders.-Drafts purchase orders and agreements for approval by the Supply Chain Manager.-Coordinates and participates in supplier meetings.
Who we are looking for
-4-year college degree Supply Chain management or relevant discipline.-Experience and/or exposure to supply chain concepts and methodologies, and manufacturing through internships or training programs.-Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.-Must have strong computer skills.-Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
