FlyTru is the fastest-growing charter airline in Texas. We have an immediate need for an Experienced Charter Airline Operations Assistant.

As a Charter Airline Operations Assistant, you will support daily flight operations by scheduling, monitoring flight activity, handling logistics for crew and passengers, and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. 

This role is on-site, not remote, and demands strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient flight operations. This role also requires flexibility and availability to support operational needs around the clock, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as the position operates 24/7, 365 days a year.

Key Responsibilities

Flight Monitoring & Coordination:

• Monitor all active charter flights and communicate their movement and any delays to relevant clients and vendors. 
• Coordinate flight schedules, including arrangements for crew layovers and overflights. 
• Assist with the execution of irregular operations in collaboration with the Flight Operations Lead or Control Center. 

Logistics and Support:

• Handle trip planning and logistics, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation for pilots and other staff. 
• Assist with the coordination of essential ground handling services, such as fueling, catering, and aircraft parking. 
• Process flight documents, assist with record-keeping, and maintain operational standards. 

Communication & Customer Service:

• Serve as a point of contact, answering calls from clients, vendors, and charter representatives. 
• Provide excellent customer service, even in stressful situations, and maintain professionalism. 
• Upload and disseminate passenger manifests for public and private charters. 

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure that flight operations and aircraft are compliant with all applicable aviation regulations and standards. 
• Monitor aircrew licenses and certificates for compliance with charter agreements. 
• Assist in maintaining operational safety and integrity in all aspects of the role. 

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
• Familiarity with software is preferred

• Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges. 
• Attention to detail in managing complex information and documentation. 

Experience:

• An Associate's degree in aircraft management or at least 2 years of relevant work experience
