Engineering Administrator 1

Job Description:

Position Summary:
The Engineering Admin I is responsible for providing overall assistance and support to the Engineering Department and Document Control Department. The Engineering Admin I reports to and works closely with the Document Control / Engineering Manager.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge/Experience
•\tHigh School Diploma or GED required.
•\tAn Associate's degree is preferred.
•\t1 – 3 years' of progressive administrative experience is required.
•\t1 - 2 years' of progressive experience in document control, preferred (i.e. Engineering Change Control, Engineering Change Requests, Engineering Change Notice Systems)

Skills/Abilities
•\tProven ability to anticipate needs.
•\tStrong attention to detail.
•\tProficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Visio)
•\tMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
•\tTroubleshooting/problem solving.
•\tAbility to prioritize, multi-task effectively, and work under pressure.
•\tStrong written and verbal communication skills.
•\tAbility to work independently or within a team environment.
•\tAbility to work with all levels of employees/management.

Working Conditions:
•\tAbility to work occasional overtime hours during evening and weekends, based on release schedules.
•\tAbility to be on call during scheduled periods.
•\tPrimarily office work
•\tRepetitive computer
•\tRepetitive sitting

Physical Requirements:
•\tOccasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
