Production (Automation) Engineer
Location: Broughton (full time onsite)
Contract Until: 31st December 2025 (Extension highly likely)

Join a cutting-edge team at the forefront of high-precision manufacturing technology. We’re seeking an experienced Production Engineer with extensive Automation experience, to support and enhance automated assembly machinery used in the production of complex structural assemblies.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role perfect for someone with a strong automation background, keen problem-solving abilities, and a passion for engineering innovation.
What You&8217;ll Be Doing:

Deploy and support a range of automated machinery for structural assembly

Improve and develop new processes including drilling, fastening, milling, and routering

Work with a mix of technologies: CNC machines, industrial robots, Cartesian systems, and cobots

Define new machinery requirements and lead automation projects

Provide ongoing technical support and continuous improvement input
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Strong experience in automation and/or robotics

Background in manufacturing or production engineering

Knowledge of automated assembly tools and production machinery

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab, Skywise)

Great communication and stakeholder management abilities

Experience over qualifications will be considered – degree welcome but not essential

Industry experience in aviation, automotive, or similar fields is desirable but not required
