Systems Engineer

Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $35.64-$40.64/Hour

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test programs to verify system and subsystem requirements for advanced defense technologies.

• Support design and qualification efforts for both electrical and optical systems.

• Contribute to electrical/optical system architecture, including requirements allocation and decomposition.

• Manage the lifecycle of system requirements from concept to deployment using formal engineering processes.

• Assist in new product development initiatives and support smooth transition to manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related field in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics; 2+ years of related experience or a Master’s degree.

• U.S. Citizenship required by Federal Law.

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Proficiency in systems engineering concepts, principles, and standards.

• Experience with requirements management and system modeling tools.

• Background in Requirements Lifecycle Management and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a plus.

• Familiarity with design, verification, and validation processes for optical and/or electrical systems.
