What will you do

• Produce machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC or manual machines (Mills, lathes, bandsaws, etc.).

• Using precision hand measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)

• Take measurements of materials and select appropriate machines for the process.

• Perform machining setup and adjust as required.

• Conduct inspection of work produced.

• Interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, materials and dimensional requirements.

• Keep records and maintain quality safety standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.

• One year experience in manufacturing industry or machine shop

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in interpreting and understanding machines codes

• Experience in 5 axis machines
