Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accept or reject work completed on inspection forms.
- Oversee surveillance of all work in progress.
- Ensure all work inspected complies with current FAA-approved technical data.
- Verify that routine, non-routine, and customer-request work cards are accurately completed and signed off.
- Confirm that calibrated tooling used is current.
- Support the Director of Maintenance, Maintenance Manager, and Chief Inspector in enforcing health and safety practices.
- This is a safety-sensitive position, subject to pre-employment and periodic DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Responsible for the release-to-service of completed work.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead Inspector.
