Position Summary:
AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Pompano Beach, FL that is a leading global aerospace manufacturer that specializes in the design and production of aircraft, aerospace equipment, and systems. With a rich heritage dating back to 1863, they are committed to delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the aerospace industry. We are looking for experienced A&P Mechanic/Technician who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!
The A&P Mechanic/Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, inspection, and modification of aircraft and aircraft systems in accordance with FAA regulations and companys standards of quality and safety.
Essential Functions:
- Able to use FAA-approved data, i.e., IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc., proficiently.
- Performs airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
- Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems
- Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems, using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA
- Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment
- Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
Requirements
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
- High school diploma or general education degree GED required
- 3+ years of Aviation Maintenance experience required. TBM/Turbo prop experience preferred.
- Inspection experience/ IA designation preferred.
- Experience with TBM aircraft, preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be able to legally work in the US
- Valid US Driver’s License required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen & background check
