Aircraft Electrical Engineer

Seeking an Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in EE or related field. In this challenging, fast-paced environment, you'll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to design and create the most groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies - those that exist today and those that will shape tomorrow.

These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft systems. You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle of fully integrated systems.

Qualifications of the Aircraft Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
  • Ability to obtain security clearance

Experience of the Aircraft Electrical Engineer

  • Experience with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
  • Experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical (preferred), AutoCAD or others
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA)
  • Knowledge of guidance and certification of aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS)
  • Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
