We're seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to support JetStream MX on a contract/project-by-project (1099) basis. Sikorsky Memorial Airport (BDR) in Stratford, CT serves as our hub; contractors are expected to dispatch and travel to wherever the job is located. You'll perform inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance across a diverse fleet, working under pressure in time-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and repair non-scheduled maintenance discrepancies; complete all return-to-service (RTS) paperwork
- Maintain on-call readiness and deploy rapidly to assignments; provide AOG recovery support
- Coordinate with Management and aircraft owners/operators
- Perform other duties as directed by Management, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Submit RTS documentation and logbook entries upon completion

- FAA A&P Certificate (required)
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical data
- Effective written and verbal communication; able to work independently and with flight/ops teams
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as AOG needs arise
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet airport badging/security requirements
