Overview

Responsibilities
Align with applicable manufacturers, industry, regulatory standards, shop practices and procedures; diagnose, service, maintain and repair all automotive, motive equipment; perform all duties of lubrication on plant equipment; service and maintain all portable tools as required; and diagnose, service, maintain, and repair all fleet equipment including but not limited to, electrical, diesel, gas and LP powered forklifts, tugs and tow tractors, manlifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and shop equipment as needed.
- Determine parts and material requirements and perform repairs as-required to support timely production and delivery of quality products-to the customer.
- Duties include Perform root cause analysis in support-of reliability processes and collaborate with vendors, engineering, team-leader, customer, other crafts, and management to solve motive equipment problems and develop corrective action.
Enter and retrieve data from Maximo and order parts required to accomplish the tasks.
- Coordinate with other organizations and specialties to provide reliability failure analysis and problem resolution for assets and systems.
- Train other employees in the same job classification.
- Use necessary automotive, motive equipment and mobile crane diagnostic, repair tools such as but not limited to, computer scanners, meters, load testers, pressure testers, precision tools, balancers, etc. to accomplish all equipment repairs.
Diagnose, service, maintain and repair all motive equipment such as but not limited to, boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, tugs, tractors, dragsters, and mobile cranes as needed.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Must have own hand tools. Hand wrenches metric and standard. Sockets, screwdrivers, pry bars, hammers, etc.
- Minimum 2 years automotive or industrial equipment repair experience
- Technical Certificate from accredited automotive technical school
- Forklift repair experience
- Automotive repair experience
- Electrically powered vehicle repair experience
- All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift.
