Job Title: GSE Mechanic
Job DescriptionAs a GSE Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing daily flight line driving and servicing functions on simple components such as brakes and rotors. You will maintain documentation and time accounting systems associated with repairs and comply with all applicable technical orders and equipment manuals.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily flight line driving and servicing functions on simple components like brakes and rotors.
- Maintain documentation and time accounting systems associated with repairs, including tracking labor hours per job.
- Comply with all applicable technical orders and equipment manuals.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components.
- Operate common and special hand and power tools effectively.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
Essential Skills- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting.
- Willingness to learn industry-related software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
Work outdoors in varying temperatures, including very hot conditions during the summer. The position is first shift, with hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Physical demands include prolonged physical exertions such as standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
