- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be proficient in the use of general hand tools, ie, magneto timing, bore scope, wrenches, torque metering equipment, etc.
- Must have a general understanding of MS, NAS, and An hardware and parts
- Must have a strong understanding of the FARs
- Must have a strong knowledge base for IPCs, Service Manuals, OneView (Textron)
- Must have strong maintenance tracking skills and familiarity with Quantum MX, Corridor, or other maintenance tracking software.
- Must have general Piston Engine Maintenance Skills
- Must have general Turbine Engine maintenance Skills
- Must be compliant with the recordation of their times for billing purposes, recordation of consumables and noting discrepancies and defects during inspection and service.
- Proficient with hand and power tools used for aircraft interior work
- Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any assigned shift
- Computer literate
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak, understand)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR)
Work Environment
The team currently consists of 4 mechanics and is growing. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with an 8 AM or 9 AM start time, and 8-hour workdays. Weekends are as demanded for overflow or AOG – Overtime opportunities available
