Tool and Parts Attendant

Job Description:

FT/PT position” button. Relocation No Travel Possible M1 is looking for a Tools and Parts Attendant
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in an industrial establishment.
• Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers.
• Searches for lost or misplaced tools and prepares periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed.
• Unpacks and stores new equipment.
• Visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn- out equipment to superiors.
• May coat tools with grease or other preservative, using a brush or spray gun.
• May attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electric marking tool
Qualifications and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Thorough understanding of DOD aircraft maintenance processes preferred.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data).
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Obtain/maintain security clearance, DOD CAC privileges, and Special Access Badge requirements.
• Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends as required.
• Current valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Must be willing and able to deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous and professional manner.
• Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
Working Conditions:

• Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
