Maintenance Control Supervisor

Job Description:

FT/PT position” button. Relocation No Travel Possible M1 is looking for a Maintenance Control Supervisor. The Maintenance Control Supervisor is responsible for all maintenance control and supply support functions, including plans, scheduling and documentation (PS&D), maintenance operations control (MOC), analysis and supply.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Serves as a Production Superintendent when needed, orchestrating the sortie generation and scheduled maintenance efforts across the F-117 maintenance complex.
• Analyzes the data-based, maintenance complex performance and inform program leadership where attention is needed.
• Leads the flying and maintenance schedule development, review and approvals on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
• Communicates with active-duty leadership on daily flying schedule attainment and adjustments were needed, in conjunction with the Production Superintendents.
• Monitors scheduled maintenance progress and makes workforce adjustment recommendations where necessary.
• Assists M1’s Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager in the use of personnel, equipment, and facilities while maintaining a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness to the customers needs.
• Professionally and effectively interfaces with the Functional Commander, Contracting Office, Government Program Manager, internal and external customers, and higher headquarters.
• Ensures that the contract is executed in a safe and efficient manner acceptable to the Government.
• Demonstrates a continuous effort to improve operations, streamline processes that reduce cost and/or labor hours and enhance operations.
• Monitors attendance, approves timecards, assigns overtime.
• Responsible for the safety and security of employees and Government facilities, equipment, classified information and material.
• Ensures sufficient manpower, training, technical data, tools and equipment are available to meet PWS requirements.
• Develops and continually sustains a culture of compliance, safety above all and professionalism.
• Ensures employees possess the qualifications and certifications necessary to perform their jobs.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:

• Education:
High school diploma or GED required, a bachelor’s degree desired.
• Experience:
Minimum of two years of Aircraft Maintenance Management experience including MOC, PS&D, Analysis or Pro Super equivalent responsibilities.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers and basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to workdays, nights or weekends, as required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance; previous or active Top Secret highly desired.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Current valid US Drivers license and the ability to drive long distances desired.
Working Conditions:

• Position requires complying with unique commuting/travel requirements.
• Must be able to move about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within a close proximity of running equipment and aircraft.
• Work environment includes normal office environment, aircraft hangars, aircraft ramps and other military base facilities.
