Description:WHAT WERE DOING
This is a multifaceted Supply Chain Management and support role which will require strong communication skills and interaction at all levels of the Customer, the subcontractor as well as LM Subcontract Management Team.

THE WORK
• The selected candidate will manage a major subcontractor, based out of the subcontractors (Telephonics) facility in Farmingdale, NY, on Naval Helo Program (NHP) Mission Systems Production, Development, and Sustainment programs.

• Responsible for leading a development Subcontract Management Team, consisting of engineering, supply chain administration, and program office, in overseeing the subcontractor towards successful development program milestones. Will Direct and manage all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system.

• Develop sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution.

• Perform as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office and are responsible for and direct all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability and program execution.

• This position requires Earned Value Management (EVM) monitoring and Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities. Travel to the customer and Lockheed Martin facilities will be required.

• Sustainment Support includes: Working directly with the subcontractor’s Program Office and internal stakeholders to achieve performance metrics on fleet asset repairs.

• Attend production operations meetings, repair WIP reviews, and other functional team meetings like R&M and Supply Chain.

• Track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure supplier performance and identify areas for improvement on fleet repairs.

WHO YOU ARE
You are a dynamic and experienced professional with a background in subcontract management or program management with a strong background in Earned Value Management, Program Planning, and Control Account Management. You are willing to be full-time onsite at a supplier facility (TTM in Farmingdale, NY) working closing with the supplier to drive results on a development program and have oversight on a long standing sustainability program. You possess strong leadership skills and are an effective communicator and negotiator, able to manage complex projects and drive results.

This position is contingent on contract award and funding which is anticipated Summer 2025.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 7+ years experience in Subcontracts or Program Management roles, experience in leading major Subcontracts and Subcontract Management Teams and or other multi-functional teams.

• Experience with contracts, proven negotiation skills, leadership experience, communication and interpersonal experience.

• CAM certification and experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

•Demonstrated Development Project/Supply Chain Management experience and ability to execute complex projects with a dynamic supplier which may require customer engagement.


•Ability to form close working relationships with the supplier while maintaining a focus towards driving completion of tasks required to meet Lockheed Martin program needs

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
