Security Operations Manager
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the role
The Security Operations Manager reports to the Senior Security Manager Wizz Air Central.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Security Operations team, fostering professional growth, enhancing skillsets, and conducting regular individual development reviews.
- Promote and enforce Group AVSEC security standards across all operational areas.
- Ensure effective risk analysis, threat assessment, and timely response capabilities.
- Oversee all matters related to the No-Fly list.
- Plan and implement security measures for flights with potentially disruptive passengers (INAD/DEPO), including comprehensive risk assessments.
- Coordinate aircraft protection procedures in cooperation with AOC Security Managers, ensuring alignment with Group security standards.
- Lead the Conflict Zone Action Group, ensuring continuous oversight of operations in conflict zones.
- Lead the Security Desk Specialists, ensuring 24/7 security monitoring and incident response capabilities.
- Collaborate with Security Operations Coordinators to support internal reporting and forecasting by gathering, analyzing, and consolidating data from diverse sources, including media, social platforms, and research bodies. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and ad-hoc security reports and crew briefings.
- Coordinate the implementation and management of travel security program measures.

Experience
3+ years working experience with 2+ experience working in aviation industry in managerial position
