Senior Manager Group Training Operations
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the position:
To lead and coordinate the operational execution of training activities across the group, ensuring effective, efficient, and compliant delivery, while supporting the implementation of group-wide training systems, processes, and projects in alignment with organizational needs.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and executing training activities across the group, ensuring delivery is effective, efficient, and compliant with internal requirements.
- Facilitating clear communication and implementation of group-wide training projects, systems, and process developments in coordination with training stakeholders.
- Providing periodic reports on training operations performance.
- Providing advice on training operations matters.
- Ensuring the maintenance of documentation related to group training operations activities.
- Collaborating with the Crew Training Project and Processes Manager on the development and maintenance of internal training systems and processes within the group training department.
- Working with the Group Training Planning and Resource Manager to ensure training resources are aligned with demand and that all approved group training activities are planned according to internal requirements.
- Coordinating with the Crew Training Support Manager to ensure the quality and consistency of administration related to crew training documentation, training records, and licensing processes across the airline group.
- Liaising with the ATO Head of Training on all flight crew training matters.
- Liaising with the CCTO Head of Training on all cabin crew training matters.
- Liaising with the Group Training Services Senior Manager on all training services matters.
- Liaising with the Group Training Safety Manager on all safety matters.
- Liaising with the Group Training Compliance Monitoring Manager on all compliance matters.
- Assessing future risks by reviewing projected operational growth and training demands, and proactively identifying suitable resources, technologies, systems, or processes to mitigate those risks.
- Contributing to the strategic development of group training operations by identifying opportunities for process optimization, innovation, and long-term capability building.
- Representing Wizz Air Group Training in relevant industry bodies.
Requirements:
- Specialized trainings as per OMM.
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, operations, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in crew training or airline operations
- Experience in managing training logistics and systems
- Knowledge of aviation training regulations
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
