Are you a hands‑on supply‑chain leader who can turn planning and procurement into on‑time delivery, lower costs and stronger supplier performance? Join Parker Meggitt at our Fareham aerospace site to own end‑to‑end supply‑chain delivery for a value stream — from sourcing through to shipment. You’ll lead a team of ~30 and work closely with production, engineering and overseas procurement to enable growth, ramp‑ups and continuous improvement.

What you’ll own
- End‑to‑end supply‑chain delivery for your value stream: S&OP / S&OE / MPS alignment to drive OTIF vs requested and promised dates.
- Strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and performance management to reduce cost and lead times.
- Inventory, stores and warehouse management to optimise flow, obsolescence and working capital.
- Trade compliance and import/export coordination (FAR/DFAR knowledge is a plus).
- Risk identification and mitigation to protect production continuity.
- People leadership: develop and coach a cross‑functional team of planners, buyers and stores staff.
- Continuous improvement: apply Lean/Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste and improve delivery and quality.
- ERP & analytics: use SAP or similar systems and demand‑planning tools to drive decisions and reporting.
About you
- Degree (or equivalent); Master’s desirable.
- Minimum 5 years’ tactical purchasing or supply‑chain experience with proven delivery of cost/lead‑time reductions.
- Strong ERP/MRP experience (SAP preferred) and hands‑on with demand/planning tools.
- Skilled negotiator with supplier performance and category management experience.
- Practical Lean/Six Sigma experience and strong problem‑solving mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Comfortable leading people, managing change and making decisions in a fast‑moving environment.
Desirable
- MCIPS or advanced procurement qualification.
- Experience managing sourcing transitions to offshore manufacturing sites.
