Job Summary
Ensure employee training and development compliance across all lines of business at his/her designated station. Responsible for performance management and professional development of station trainers and coaches (classroom and On the Job) to support the way forward for training in the US.
The expected pay rate is $28/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your activities
- Responsible for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities at the station with an objective of reducing employee injuries, aircraft, and equipment damage
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management to Station Trainers that mirrors the mission and core values of the company.
- Implement and maintain the appropriate training standards and principles across all lines of business maximize consistency and results.
- Manage end to end new hire process.
- Ensure training compliance and accuracy of all training files (paper and electronic records)
- Deliver initial professional development training (example: Active Supervision)
- Deliver on all KPI’s, through effective planning, by supporting and coaching individuals in order to meet the business targets.
- Partner with station stakeholders (GM, HR, Operations, etc.) to ensure a smooth initial and recurrent training experience for all employees.
- Effectively Manage and communicate station training schedules to maximize trainer efficiency and increase trainee competence.
- Provide Area Training Manager with regular feedback to improve training experience.
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews with all direct reports. Discuss performance and ensure succession planning is in place throughout the area
- Promote team leaders, trainers and managers to best fulfill station training goals.
- Set employee goals, ensuring conformity to company standards and ensuring high standards from their team.
- Manage training audits.
- Assist the Safety department in incident investigations/reporting and audits.
- Develop the skills and competence of staff through training, coaching and on the job development
- Deliver technical training as needed based on station trainer staffing levels.
- Ability to manage, motivate and inspire teams and trainees
- Flexible to work off shifts and weekends

Your profile
- Bachelor degree is preferred within the area of business, Human Resources, Training and development or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred
- 3+ years of leadership development and training experience required
- In compliance with 1544.405-1544.411; screener must be a citizen us the United States
- Proficient in MS Access will be considered an advantage
- Aviation background - a plus
- Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage remote teams
- Proven success working in a matrixed organization
- Distinct customer focus (internal and external)
- Problem solving skills, sound decision
