The Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) Configuration Lead will be a Servant Leader championing our Development Operations (DevOps) mindset, culture, and process/technical practices. This individual will support practices in communication, integration, automation, and model close cooperation among all those needed to plan, develop, test, deploy, release, and maintain a solution.
The ideal applicant for this role will have previous experience with Workday implementation and post-implementation optimization, as well as, have a sound understanding of HR processes and operational framework.
The selected applicant will have a security and controls mindset and experience at empathizing with users and developing problem statements that address the needs of our various employee personas. Within our DevOps model, the Workday HCM Security Configuration Analyst must have a solid grasp of DevOps and understands how to break down organizational silos.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Business Process Architects, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Information Technology (IT) to assess change impacts for incoming work requests
Coordinate with business and technology teams integrating system and data requirements
Develop a continuous delivery improvement with regard to data protection, controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance
Develop and coach team members
Document Future State of Workday Security configurations
Drive continuous improvement of employee experience through aligning / optimizing HR technologies to employee needs
Facilitate open communication and fact-based decision making
Support of Workday Domains, Role and User Based security
Analyze New work/project impact analyses
Partner with IT to provide analysis of Workday feature/functionality research
Partner with IT in architects and monitoring of systems
Perform Business Process Analysis for workday security groups
Perform Statement of Direction (SOD) analysis and baselining for Workday Fin & HCM modules
Prepare Security and Governance requirements, standards, policy, and procedure documents
Provide Functional Analysis and configuration support of Security, and BP Policies
Provide subject matter Testing and Data Management Support for critical projects
Provide Workday Operational support
Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving security model and business technology problems
Responsible for Security Group configuration & assignments, configuring ISU’s
Support business case studies for technology developments
Support change management and training of deployed systems
Support recurring operational events and actions
Support the Workday Adoption Roadmap process
Support Workday cross-platform product offerings (HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent, Performance, Mobile, Adaptive Planning, etc.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
5+ years of experience in Requirements Management
5+ years of experience with requirements based testing
5+ years of experience with the Workday HR Management System
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active Workday HCM certification
Active Workday Engagement Manager certification
Experience as a Workday Engagement Manager
Experience as a security lead and/or architect

Summary pay range: $112,200 – $174,800
