Job Title: Aircraft AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Aircraft Assembler with a minimum of 4 years of experience. The role involves performing complex assembly, fitting of detail parts, and installation tasks at a high productivity rate within various manufacturing processes, such as sealant, fasteners, electric harnessing, and hydraulics. The successful candidate will ensure that parts assembly meets or exceeds specifications.
Responsibilities- Perform complex assembly, fitting of detail parts and structures, and installation through varied drilling and riveting operations, under limited to zero direct supervision, ensuring parts/assembly meet or exceed requirements.
- Perform routine tasks and complete build tasks as defined by management with 100 accuracy within or under the predefined timeframe.
- Complete frequent special assignments and complex repairs, recommending solutions to a variety of related problems of sophisticated scope and complexity.
- Collaborate with associates in other functional areas to resolve stop work issues, participate in NH Circle projects, and establish Best Practice methodologies.
- May participate actively in the mentor program and train others to perform tasks.
- Proactively update supervisor/lead on task/assignment status, issues, and/or delays.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and support the company 5S program (Sort, Systematize, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain), directing others on work area maintenance.
- Participate in and satisfactorily complete HACI certification eligibility requirements for internal aircraft process specifications, and continuously meet recurrent training requirements.
Essential Skills- Advanced knowledge of aircraft systems or components function.
- Experience working directly with outside customers.
- Exhibits teamwork and strong work ethics.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in reading work orders, blueprints, and process specifications to follow sequence of planned operations.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Knowledge of arithmetic, instruments, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, and PowerPoint) is strongly preferred.
- A&P and/or other related licensure is highly desired.
- Ability to work overtime, call in, call back, and on-call duty if requested by management.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.11 - $32.86/hr.
