* Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline from an ABET-accredited institution.
* Possess 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
* Demonstrate 5+ years of engineering experience related to the development, selection, and/or revision of parts, materials, and process specifications for production testing, electrical subsystems, aircraft interiors, and other aircraft systems
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Demonstrate 5+ years of experience in production planning, including ownership of value stream build plans
* Utilize experience with 787 systems, build plans, production testing, electrical installations, and/or aircraft interiors
* Adapt to a diverse and demanding work environment and schedule Job Duties & Functions
* Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
* Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
* Develop conceptual designs while maintaining program architecture for the build
* Identify and implement conceptual designs supporting manufacturing objectives
* Lead manufacturing plans and associated implementation activities
* Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability aligns with requirements
* Assist in providing producibility information for project plans and documenting best practices
* Analyze design and build concepts to evaluate producible design and build definitions
* Resolve technical problems that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule
* Coordinate implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts
* Validate production readiness of solutions to complex manufacturing problems
* Implement lean principles and technologies Physical Requirements & Environment
