Description:You will be the Manufacturing Support Team Member for our dynamic production team. Our team is responsible for driving process improvements and supporting production operations using lean manufacturing skills and best practices.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Support Team Member, you will be responsible for working on a variety of tasks, including action items, improvement events, and initiating and implementing new initiatives for production operations. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with Performance Management Team associated tasks
• Supporting development assemblies and/or processes
• Leading discussions and presenting program and team status to internal and external customers
• Thinking and performing cross-functionally to meet production expectations
• Working independently and thinking outside the box to solve problems
• Presenting solutions professionally to a variety of audiences

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Minimum 1-year direct production operations leadership experience (formal or informal).
Experience with process improvements.
Knowledge in production processes.
Able to lead and motivate teams.
Be able to work independently and think outside the box on problems that have no outlined structure.
Be able to present solutions professionally to a variety of audiences.
Potential 5AM shift start time.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
1st Shift
Desired Skills:
Experience with tooling improvements and implementation.
Ability or experience necessary to facilitate improvement events or discussion. (Lean Six Sigma-Green Belt trained/certified)
Knowledge related to facility and production area layout changes.
Experience and examples to prove ability to problem-solve and come up with solutions.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
3+ years manufacturing and production experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
