Job Title: Deburrer
Job DescriptionThe Deburrer supports the machining department by deburring and finishing metal parts so they meet customer expectations and specifications. This role uses a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines to grind, file, and sand metal surfaces, remove defects, and smooth uneven areas to ensure high-quality finished components.
Responsibilities
- Support the machining department by deburring metal parts to meet defined quality standards and customer specifications.
- Grind, file, and sand surfaces of metal items using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines.
- Examine metal surfaces closely to identify burrs, defects, and imperfections.
- Remove defects and burrs from metal components and smooth uneven surfaces to achieve the required finish.
- Handle tools and equipment safely and correctly while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity requirements and production deadlines.
Essential Skills- Hands-on experience with deburring processes or strong mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn deburring.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for grinding, filing, and sanding metal parts.
- Strong attention to detail when examining surfaces for defects and imperfections.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Previous deburring experience is a plus.
- Experience with grinding operations is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of machining or manufacturing processes is helpful.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and quality standards.

Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
