PURPOSE: The Payroll and Crew Pay Coordinator will assist with accurate and timely payroll processing for our diverse workforce. This role requires strong attention to detail, a service-first mindset, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. The ideal candidate will bring curiosity and care to payroll operations, assist with audits and reporting, and help maintain clean, compliant processes across Paylocity, N-OC, and ProVerne. They’ll also support business processes that protect operational integrity and contribute to a positive Crewmember experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct regular audits of manual payroll processes, including pay code entries, adjustments, and exceptions.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized logs of audit findings.
- Leverage scheduling technology to track, monitor, and audit Flight Crew pay records, promptly identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
- Support the development, documentation, and implementation of standardized payroll procedures.
- Ensure payroll records and related documentation comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports to management and relevant departments.
- Monitor payroll systems to verify accurate recording of Crewmember hours and pay rates.
- Proactively identify and recommend enhancements to payroll processes to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proficiency in payroll systems, scheduling systems, and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Drive and willingness to learn and grow within the airline industry.
- Proven ability to analyze data from various systems and deliver clear, meaningful insights.

X-FACTORS:
- Experience with Paylocity, N-OC, and/or ProVerne.
- Experience with the aviation industry.
- Greater Houston area preferred.
