Helimax Aviation LLC is currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Purchasing & Logistics Specialist position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the purchasing and procurement of aircraft parts, materials, tooling, and ground support equipment.
• Work directly with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, delivery schedules, and favorable terms.
• Track and manage inventory levels, including receiving, shipping, transfers, and inventory control.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft parts and operational materials.
• Enter and manage purchase orders and inventory transactions within the WinAir system.
• Maintain shelf-life tracking, hazardous goods compliance, and monthly inventory audits.
• Coordinate U.S. Mail/COMAT shipments and base-to-base transfers.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel, vendors, logistics teams, and internal departments to support operational needs.
• Resolve purchasing, shipping, supplier, and inventory issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, tracking information, and documentation.
• Assist with identifying alternate sourcing options during shortages or delays.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors and suppliers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous purchasing, procurement, logistics, or inventory management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt under pressure.
• Aviation industry experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn company systems, including WinAir.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
