This position is to develop and author interactive electronic technical publications (IETP) for complex military aeronautics systems. It requires education and some experience in fields supporting development of military aeronautics technical publications such as flight manuals and maintenance manuals. The successful candidate will be able to:
• Effectively work with multiple engineering, software, supportability, flight test, and logistics disciplines.
• Participate in a small technical writing team, developing the design and production of IETP, and writing and revising flight manuals and flight checklists.

Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in one or more of the following;
• Aerospace Engineering (with minor in computer science)
• Mechanical Engineering (with minor in computer science)
• Electrical Engineering (with minor in computer science)
• Electronic Engineering (with minor in computer science)
Desired Skills:
Proficient with MS Office apps.
Familiarity with spanup languages
Knowledge of engineering drawing systems and bill of materials (BOMs)
Experience with graphic creation and design
Familiarity with aircraft systems.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $47,600 - $79,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $60,200 - $104,190. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
